Smokers clear a little cap this year and a whole lot the following six years. We get a couple of prospects still playing at the lower levels of minor league ball. We took Soriano to make the deal workable for Bats.
We will clear MiLB roster space to accommodate the adding of prospects once the deal is approved -- 2 slots)
Bats put the trade through on Fantrax; we are doing it here on proboards. Think Bats still has to approve here, even though he has already on Fantrax...
Accidentally and incorrectly added Aaron Judge to the original trade post (he was part of our negotiations); we have deleted him. The trade above is the one posted on Fantrax.
