I hate losing Jagielo, whom I think is a really solid bat and Montas, whom I barely knew but I think is putting it together with his K/BB being much improved this year, but I'm trying to make the playoffs and a second closer will help.

Some may view dealing Rondon a mistake, but we need some bats in our system. Gambling on Jagielo maturing into a solid power hitter for us down the road. We are also hoping Francellis Montas remains a SP rather than sliding into a relief role.

Trade gives Frederick some immediate help and maybe helps us down the road more. In our present situation we don't realistically need Rondon right now, anyway.
