If you wanna pay $15m a year for a mediocre fantasy producer that is due for some regression, good luck. Even blind squirrels find an acorn once in a while.

This is a week in which prospects can be signed, so Solarte I believe should be signed with a signing bonus.

This is a week in which prospects can be signed, so Solarte I believe should be signed with a signing bonus. Solarte is already over 150ABs, so those guys are signed to salary not bonus, if he had waited another day or two to go over 150ABs yes. I'm sure there are some that prefer bonus bidding and others that prefer salary, but thats why its good to have a clear rule here so LMs dont have decide which group they want to favor. As it is, there's no way to post him to milb bonus bidding when he's not a minor leaguer anymore. He went over 150 on may 25 and prospect bidding started may 26. Blame Girardi. If for some reason we are not bidding on MLBers this week (I assume we are as a prohibition was never mentioned) then I can always repost Solarte next week. Doesnt change him being over 150 though.

You are very correct. Solarte will receive a contract since he is no longer a prospect. Could not have said it better myself
