Just traded to acquire Wright but that was more about getting Bryce. I wanted Kershaw to anchor my staff for the next few years as he's the best pitcher in baseball. In a league where the cap is $120M, and a lot of cost controlled young players already in place, the salary doesn't really matter to me.
The other two guys Bluesox wanted to shed their salaries while upgrading CI so Wright is great for him. I'm still a believer in Sandoval so happy to take a chance on him. Should be able to use a tag to keep hold of him as well. Not a fan of Asdrubal but if he gets hot then I might be able to flip him.
Disappointed to lose Dietrich as I think he's hugely underrated.
