Yovani Gallardo, SP, MIL - (11.25, 13 (TO)) Edwin Diaz, SP, SEA - prospect
Accept. As anyone who had previously discussed Garcia with me before I moved him last time knows, I like him a lot. I also have a lot of pitching depth in the upper minors that will be replacing Gallardo next season, and my roster should be stronger then. |

Altho it wasnt prearanged, i thought when i traded harper/wright it would open up cap to do this deal and that rattlers would likely accept since it fits his plan well. From my end, I've just traded for some hitting help now, partly through harper, but also in another deal giving up pitching, this gives me some pitching back that fits my roster plan of a bunch vet SPs on 2 year deals with some young ones on the farm that might start to tri kle through when my staff turns over in two years. I've still got cespedes/maybin/taveras in the OF longterm and ethier this year.
