Obviously This Schedule is now bunk. We are going to proceed with a shortened, roto only season with no playoffs. Here are the other changes that have been decided:
1. The new Ruthian Roto trade deadline will be September 13th. Weekly free agency will also end on Sunday, September the 13th. 2. Due to players getting COVID-19 or opting out of the season, GMs will have the option to renew any player, with an expiring contract after 2020, who doesn't play in 2020 for COVID-related reasons (M Leake, I Desmond, Felix Hernandez, etc) for one year for the same contract they have for 2020. To be clear, if a contracted player misses the season because of TJ surgery, he may not be renewed in the same way. Note that this was already the case with all PP-20 eligible players, but this year all players with a free agent contract ending after 2020 can be renewed as well. 3. GM's will receive a 50% cap relief on any player that does not play due to COVID related reasons. This is the case regardless of their contractual status after 2020. 4. MILB SB midseason signing period will not happen this year. 5. Because of the taxi squad flexibility in the MLB and some of what MLB teams are doing with 2020 college draftees, I would for this season only, ban any SB bids for 2020 draftees that acquire an AB or IP. 2020 draftees should only be available via the draft.

One more cavaet. Any UFA who has opted out or is out for COVID reasons cannot be signed in an attempt to get him cheaply for a future season. The player will be ineligible for UFA instead.
