Every team will be limited to $125 million in Salary Cap. This cap will be used for Player Salaries Only.
Starting in 2020, Every team will have a $10 million Signing Bonus Cap. This cap will be used for Signing Bonuses Only.
Teams will also receive two tags. These tags can be either a Franchise or a Restricted tag, and is up to the choice of each owner. Franchise Tags - Team takes on the players real life MLB contract. All contractual option (player, club, both) will be considered club options. This league will not enforce buyouts of options. This league will not enforce vesting options. Restricted Tags - Team will allow player to be bid on in the offseason, and will have opportunity to match winning bid or receive compensation. Restricted Free Agency rules apply. Amendment 3.1 - Tags may be traded, but the type of tag being attached to a player does not need to be determined by at the date of trade. Tags do not have to be declared until the offseason, as if the tag was owned by the original GM. Tags traded however cannot be removed once traded with a player.
