I think individual teams are responsible for updating their available cap space on their individual team pages

Most don't even have threads of their drafted players up. If they can't keep track of the players they've drafted, I have a hard time believing they'll bother to keep track of their cap situation going forward.

I'm doing a spreadsheet for all teams on my teampage. It's not up to date yet but it will be soon. The draft has been moving quickly and I haven't been keeping up.

we could do something where jimmy or max assign different teams to check out a certain team and make sure their cap is right before the season starts that way they dont have to check on all 20 plus other teams themselves

If anyone wants to step up and be a roster supervisor of sorts, then by all means step forward. There is a lot of work that goes into running these leagues and when my leagues off-season starts up, I will have much less free time available to help out in here. That said policing all 30 teams is really hard and if anyone is willing to help out, I think Jimmy and Max would welcome the help.

Max and I, possibly Matthew as well will check teams after the draft, before the free agent period starts, to make sure everyone is under the cap.

HOWEVER, per the rules, every team MUST be keeping a log of their draft picks, and MUST be keeping an up to date roster (this includes salary cap). This shouldn't be difficult in the least, considering every GM is suppose to post contracts when they make their selection.

Big thanks to Gaz who is working on the spread sheets which will be used to help double check every team's cap

True, if you guys need help tho Jimmy you can assign me a few teams to double check cap space after the draft

I think we are getting to the point where if people don't start updating their team pages, warnings need to go out and if it persists even after being warned then a loss of FYPD pick/s or tag/s should be taken away. As I said above it is a near futile task to try and police all 30 people in here. People need to upkeep their pages so this is not an issue later.

Agree. There's also some level if people arent doing it now, when the excitement of the league being new wears off they are highly unlikely to do it then.
