I run a 30 team league thats been around 7 seasons or so now that needs 2 owners. Teams are Angels, Nationals. We do have a good core - 25 owners have been in the league for 2 years minimum and theres a core of 10 thats been in it for the full run.
If anyone wants a real project, the Nationals are a mess of a franchise at the moment and need a dedicated owner.. and the division is pretty ripe to be taken over, theres no one dominating it. Angels are up and down but overall are ok, they were WS bound in 14 and playoffs in 15 and missed in 16.
This league operates very similar to other leagues with this 30 team set up. There are some rule differences, the major one is no draft and you inherit your franchises picks and IFAs year to year. While this may seem unfavorable to some, I've found that it really doesnt matter due to the volatility of prospect values, and it makes administration simpler... and I suspect is favorable for parity as opposed to a draft. Thats about the only major difference. We use fantrax and have 6x6 roto with QS in place of W.
