Season is around the corner, the Generals continue to rebuild and are looking to flip one, two or all 3 of the following. This trade block is unlike any other, these guys are all young, PP and will be solid or top producers. I am not trading away over priced old guys.
CI Byung Ho Park - PP $0.5 2020 (I took the signing bonus hit, you get a potential stud at pp salary) You know his story 29 years old, he is slated to DH and bat 6th for the Twins, he hit 50+ HRs the past two years in Korea, projections have him around 22-32 HRs, .260 avg, .800 ops, 73-85 rbis
OF Randal Grichuk - PP $0.5 2019. Broke out last year in 323 at bats - 17HRs, 49runs, 47rbis, 4sbs, .276avg, .877ops and is only 24 years old. Slated to start in CF and bat 4th or 5th (depending on which site you believe) for the Cardinals
OF Rusney Castillo - PP $0.5 2019. Highly touted player from Cuba, only 28 years old. Will be competing for at bats and playing time with Brock Holt and Jackie Bradley, doesn't seem like much competition. You Red Sox fans can probably figure this out better than me. From what I read, if the Sox move Pablo, Holt possibly goes to 3B, opening up more time for Castillo. The Red Sox are paying him a lot of $$, so I doubt he is a part time player for long. The guys has 20/20 written all over him. Let's go Red Sox Nation, come get your man!
So, what am I looking for in return??? To avoid suitors asking "hey, what do you want in return for Park?". Here it is : I am looking for top prospects to add to my rebuild, prefer top 100 guys. I am close to my roster limit, so I am not looking for a bunch of lower tiered guys. It takes value to get value, I am looking for one or two prospects that can outproduce the more proven talent I am trading. If you are looking to win now and over the next few years, these 3 guys can help you succeed and will NOT hurt your salary cap. In the right deal would also consider taking back some salary since I have cap space. I am not desperate to move these guys, so I am not looking to just take any offer.
Thanks
