Per amendment 10.2, Revocable Waivers
There will now be a set period for revocable waivers and trading. There will be a set period that players can be posted as well a maximum of 5 players(per team) that can post on revocable waivers.
Trade deadline 8/5 midnight
8/18-8/21 players can be placed on revocable waivers. A maximum of 5 players can be posted per team.
8/22-8-24 any player placed on revocable waivers can be claimed. 1 PM with all claimed players sent to mlbpa
8/25 claims announced. Players will claimed in the order they were posted. The team lowest in the standings that post a claim will win the trading rights for the player, and will move to the bottom of the standings. All unclaimed players can be traded freely. No player that has exceeded the 150/50 limit can be traded with out being placed through revocable waivers after the trade deadline.
8/27 all trades of claimed or unclaimed players must be posted by the end of this date

2 questions
Is Aug 27 also the deadline to revoke the waiver if you want to keep your guy that was claimed?
Typically (in real life) the team gets more time to trade a guy who passed thru waivers, unclaimed. Of course he could only be traded for other guys who also passed unclaimed. Are we not extending the time here at all?

1) Yes, 8/27 is the last day to revoke any claims made. Any guys that Pass through waivers completely can be traded to anyone like real life. Guys that are claimed can only be traded to the claiming team, for any combination of prospects and/or players that have passed through waivers. That does not mean they have to be traded though, it is strictly the waiving teams perogative.
2) No extension of the time for trading, mostly because the playoffs start the following week.
If it makes more sense to guys, I can make the claim day 22-23, announce bids the 24th, 27th still last day to announce and trades

Are PP players needing to go through the waiver process to trade or are they considered like prospects and can be freely traded?

PP Players need to go through waivers. Prospects are anyone that hasn't accrued 150ab/50ip rookie limits, and can be traded in deals for claimed players.
