Love to hear some of your thoughts gents? I picked STL, mostly because I think they are the most complete team and have one of the best pitching staffs in the playoffs. I hope for my Pirates sake I am wrong though

I just picked WC because I hate 5 of the 6 other teams in the playoffs, and I'm lukewarm on the A's. Plus the Rays have the pitching and just enough hitting to get hot and barrel through the postseason.

Gotta be the Dodgers. Throwing Kershaw and Greinke twice in a 7 game series and also having Ryu and Nolasco... That's killer. Plus that lineup can beat the best of pitchers with Puig, Gonzo, Crawford, etc. Def the team to beat and I'm predicting them over Tampa in 6

I would say St. Louis over Tampa in 6. St. Louis's situational hitting and staff are just prime time players. It seems easy for them. And they're without their best situational hitter.

So many teams with a legit shot. Got to go with Detroit. Scherzer, Verlander, Sanchez is just insane. Plus some offense to boot. But I wouldn't be surprised by any team this year. Detroit over St Louis in a classic 7 game series for the ages.

I was debating hard between the Rays and the Tigers. 20/20 hindsight after watching the Rays/Sox today, and I'm wishing I would've agreed with you originally, haha.

Before the season I thought it would be a Nationals and Tigers World Series, but if you asked me during the season I quickly turned to the Cardinals as the NL favorite, so I'll stick with a Cardinals at Tigers World Series. That said I do think the Dodgers have closed the gap in the NL to point that I think it will go 6-7 games and who wins is anybody's guess. I also think the Red Sox have closed the gap between them and the Tigers to the point that they might even be the favorite with home field advantage. Though I still think it is the Tigers World Series to lose and if they don't win it all it is an upset. I am a Sox fan so I am more than happy to be wrong. GOOOOOO Sahxx!
