The Future Year Player Draft (FYPD) will be held after the conclusion of the MLB Playoffs. It will be a 5 round draft, and will include every player in MLB's June Amatuer Draft, Every international player signed July 2nd and after (including and under the age of 23)*, and any prospect who has had a minor league IP or AB that is not owned by any team.
In order to maintain a competitive balance and protect teams that have a transfer in ownership, the FYPD picks will not be eligible to be traded, including picks that are acquired through the RFA process.
*all international players 24 and older will be subject to regular free agency rules.
Amendment 13.1 - FYPD Picks can be traded the day after the real life world series up through the completion of the FYPD. Future FYPDs are not permitted to be traded.
