Keys agree to trade: OF Michael Choice TEX pp 2018
MI Tony Renda WAS prospect

to the Generals for OF Carlos Quentin SD 15-17 1.5mil
OF Ender Inciarte ARI pp 2018

I hate losing Choice's power potential especially when power is becoming so rare. However I think this deal helps make my team better in the short term and gives me another guy who will get stolen bases.

Generals agree.

(San) Quentin has done it before and be a great comeback and a bargain at $1.5, but then again he is 32 and may never play a full season. Incairte is a nice filler OF, but I need to build my OF with some power, so I am good letting them both go.

In return I get Choice, who the Rangers have to give another chance to and hopefully he puts it all together. I am not in love with Renda, but he is scrappy, has speed and could be a starter down the road at MI.
