Miguel Montero, David Wright, Jered Weaver, Jayson Werth are all up for grabs. So are Brandon Crawford and Adam Ottavino. Looking for starting pitching or a MI or an OF. Also willing to accept gentleman's (or gentlewoman's) agreement on draft picks.
If you want Belt, it'll have to be a lot.

Julio Teheran for the best offer of a SP and either an OF or a CI. I've had some creative offers but none that have struck my fancy.

Marlins deal matching
In possibly the worst kept secret in the league, I had a gentleman's agreement with the Miami Marlins where I traded Wright, Hamilton, Lynn, Salazar and Keyvious Sampson for their entire draft. Since Marlins are now being replaced, I am opening the floor to anyone seeking to try to match, or do a deal on a smaller scale for the players in the trade. Essentially, I'm willing to practically give away the farm to anyone willing to eat Hamilton's contract.

What about the deal he had made to send you (Blue Sox) his picks his picks? Why is that not valid? Marlins was a legit owner at the time.

It was a gentleman's agreement, and Jimmy said about 100 times that gentleman's agreements were not enforceable, and I do not have any expectation that Jimmy or the TRP honor it.

sorry, I couldn't resist, but I think the key issue can be found in Webster's under the definition of "gentleman"
: a man who treats other people in a proper and polite way
: a man of high social status

Yeah, we understand all that and the "rule" and the LM admonition about handshake agreements being unenforceable, etc. We just thought under these circumstances something could very easily be done. No biggie. Doesn't effect our club. We were trying to get a break cut for a good guy and good owner. This was something out of the ordinary; not the ordinary broken agreement -- the guy was dumped from the league!!!

If it's a unanimous yes to let the trade go through, then I don't see Why not. I agree with Tampa that under this circumstances we can bend a rule to help a good guy out. At least something positive will come out of it.

I was the one pushing for a trade thread to be posted in but it didn't get any traction. I have to go with the majority and say that nothing can be done. It worked well in another league. But at this point anything involving Marlins should not be enforced

Everyone on my trade block are spoken for. Thank you for all the offers. I am likely to stay put unless someone wants to trade me a first rounder.
