Usually don't trade our prospects for other prospects, but we favor Dahl by quite a bit, so we agreed to this with the Quake. Marrero adds a much needed MI prospect to our side (at the cost of Jake Lamb). We have the depth at prospect CI to include Lamb (ouch).

Quakes agree. We value Meadows and Dahl about the same for left-handed OF prospects who where drafted in the top 10 out of high school. We like Meadows power over Dahl's, although Dahl adds more speed and his hit tool will play up more at Coors. Marrero has improved his prospect stock quite a bit this season, but so has Lamb and think he is still one of the most underrated prospects in the game. Lamb has posted a .930+ OPS at every minor league level so far, with outstanding defense that will make him the D-backs 3B of the future.
