I was perusing the rules, and the top four teams from each division make the head-to-head postseason format. I thought someone mentioned overall roto standings with both divisions combined? However, I cannot remember the details. Please clarify.

For the standings to determine the top 4 teams from each division we use the combined standings from both divisions, for example the league leader in any particular category gets 30 points, with the last place team getting 1 point. Rather than splitting the leagues into two divisions on a 1-15 point scale. After the regular season is over the top 4 teams from each division advance to a head-to-head playoff format to determine the league champion. Hope that makes sense, it's late and conciseness is alluding me.

urg, thats annoying. wish i'd known that. i guess it's not a killer difference, but it does make a significant difference. i guess its better to know now though than later. the way fantrax is set up, its listed by division of 15, so with the way the rules are written it makes it look like its the top 4 out of each 15 on the front page rather than the best 4 from that division in list of 30 you have sort through. so that's what i was planning on since its the obvious thought based on the setup and rules.

When you click on the Fantrax standings page, there are different tabs. Sorting through the top 4 in each league is not all that difficult. The rules are written in general, and in no way implied that the "front page" of the Fantrax website would be the indicated standings. It wont make a huge difference, but it does provide more competitive feedback for teams, as there are more points at risk and teams are able to make up more ground/remain competitive because of that.

I think I get it....do we manually have to compute with sorting each category? Or is there a master list to look at on fantrax? I am still learning the website, so forgive my naivety

if you toggle around and go to standings, there's a tab which has combined standings.
i'm just glad i aborted my original draft strategy to punt starting pitching when a lot of good SPs were still on board in the mid-teens. that would have been horrible in combined. makes me feel a bit worse about the bryce/wright deal as I may should have kept the steals, but nothing i shouldn't be able to fix. only thing is i would have traded for injury replacements earlier if i had known but again it should only be a small diff. just glad hickory asked now.
