Please place all waived players in this thread until August 19th. Any player posted within this thread can be claimed, via waiver order, which I will update later today. All claims must be sent to MLBPA with 48hours of the player being posted.
If a player is claimed, the waiving and claiming team will have 48 hours to complete a deal (if a player with MLB service time is to be traded, they must pass through waivers as well). Prospects do not have to pass through waivers if they have not acquired 1AB or 1IP this season, and can be traded for any deal. Prospect swaps are not permitted.
If a deal is not reached, the waiving team has the option to revoce the waived player or buyout the player and release him.. Also if a player goes unclaimed, the waiving team has the same two options.
Any player waived and bought out between now and the end of the season cannot be signed as a Free Agent.
